American Museum of Natural History
Dinosaur Gallery Wayfinding Graphics

The Dinosaur Gallery is a partnership between Columbus, Ohio's Center of Science and Industry (COSI) and the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York City — home to one of the world's most extensive dinosaur collections. The new gallery at COSI is focused on the evolutionary links between dinosaurs and birds, where visitors will discover how the dinosaurs’ story continues today.

As part of the design team at MKSK, I was tasked with the design of wayfinding and environmental graphics that would maintain the AMNH's identity and guide visitors to the gallery entrance. The design captures the transition of dinosaurs to birds. All graphics are “life-size.”

The elevation drawings helped us discuss design intent with the installation teams and ensure accurate placement of the wayfinding elements.
